When a mum of two met a hunky fireman on a dating show, neither could have expected it to end as it did
Dating is hard at the best of time but dating with children is even harder.
This was laid bare when mother of two Verona went on First Dates to find the love of her life but was left shocked when it all went a bit wrong as soon as she mentioned her children.
The pair had flirted all the way through their date, and Verona gave him major eyes when he stripped off his jacket to reveal a very tight T-shirt and the body of a Fireman.
Flirting their way through their date, there was more fluttering of eyelashes than possibly ever seen before on theChannel 4 show and it seemed as if they were destined for First Datessuccess.
“I’ve got two tattoos, I want more. I want my kids names,” she says casually dropping her two kids into the conversation.
But as Paul’s face freezes and he quizzes her about her family, it soon becomes apparent that not all is well in this previously haven of dating paradise.
In the booth, she explains: “I don’t want anymore kids. There is that worry if I meet someone who doesn’t have children that they might want kids.”
Paul says: “My dream as a teenager had been finding a wife and us being in the delivery room together and experiencing everything together and not with someone who’s already had that experience before.
“Ideally I would like to meet someone to go through those experiences together and it’s both of our first time.”
A guy that really looking for wife will not settle down with a single mother.Except the guy is a divorcee or widower.
@Henry, are u implying that single mums are eventually bad wives??
So in need of love, !
Anon18:37.I didn't say single mums are "bad wives" because I didn't know where you get that from. What I'm saying is,a lot of men will prefer settling down with a lady that has no children.
