Where, where was God when Joseph had to go through 13 years of his life in wilderness (from one problem to the other) just to get to his dream just because he wanted to do it Gods way?
Where was God when Daniel had to be bound both hands and feet and thrown into the Lion’s den just because he decided to do the will of God?
Where was God when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were bound, burning furnace heat turned up 7 times more than usual and they thrown in just because they refused to bow down to King Nebuchadnezzar’s image of gold ?
Where was God when Hannah had

to pray for several years for the fruit of the womb so much so that even the prophet thought she was drunk early in the morning?

Where was this God when I paid my tithe, worshiped, praised, hoped and even hoped some more and NOTHING seemed to happen? I find the strength to go to church, worship and praise when everything speaks against me?
Where was God when after I’ve been a good girl practically all my life I remain single and the supposed ‘bad’ girls end up with the good guys?
I ask again, where was this God when my cousin died of cancer?
Where was God when I studied really hard came out with good grades and I’m still here roaming the streets of the world jobless?
Where, where is God when I call, where is God when I wail, where is He when I even remain calm just to hear Him say just one word to me with all efforts proving abortive?
Is that not taking matters too far you may ask?
No! Allow me express myself and please everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion
Where was God when His Son Jesus had to die on the cross for you and me?
Where was this God when Jesus had to go through pains and death on the cross just for you and me? Where, where was God?
I dare say that God comes late when He wants to come big.
After all Jesus had gone through, He gave Jesus a name that is above all names and that at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow and every tongue must confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Joseph became prime minister in a foreign Land after 13 years.
Even king Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged the Lordship of my God after throwing 3 people into the burning furnace; he saw 4 people and the fourth person looked like the son of God.
C’mon now, My Lord shut the mouth of the Lions on Daniels overnight visit to their den.
Hannah gave birth to one of the most influential people we still get to talk about in history after waiting those years.
My cousin died and it was really painful but thank God he gave his life to Christ before he died.
YES nothing seemed to happen in my own eyes after paying my tithe, worshiping and praying because His time is not my time. Do I hold in my hands the power to wake up each morning, get on the bus, drive, laugh, urinate, and do the major or even fart *covers face*? A visit to the general hospital will convince you that these miracles are not just ‘normal’ but by His grace.
Yes I do not have all I want but I do have all I need to go through life one day at a time.
Yes! I am still waiting and I know my man is on the way *dancing*.
I may not understand what you’re going through but one thing is sure, hold on! God comes late when He wants to come big.

  2. Tnx a lot Folashade,dis is so encouraging. Sometyms I feel lyk giving up n hitting d streets bt wen I rmba dat His tym is nt my tym I re-tink. I believe HE's up dere watching down on me n preparing me 4 greatness. Tnx dear,my spirit is lifted again.(As long as dere's lyf,dere's hope)

    For real, God tests everyman. He tests ur patience, courage, faith and even the works of your hand.

    Make no mistake, the devil replicates everything done by God, remember the devil tested Jesus, he tested Job. He who is patient, he who is steadfast will overcome.

    My pastor way back @uni always will say this, when you ask God for smthn and he doesn't give you don't rush, he just myt have seen that, that which you asked for can either be used to kill urself or sm1 else… A lot of ppl have either killed others or have died in a car they supposedly asked God for.

    Like the popular bus inscriptions in Lagos "God's time is the best"
    And the yoruba's will also say "Makanjuola" Meaning – Don't be hasty for wealth!

  6. Thanks alot folashade. I'm in a situation at the moment where I'm wondering where God is. But I'm so glad reading this today. I will be more patient . Although, I'm beginning to think that i have been patient enough. But now i believe God has a plan for me. Thanks again.

  11. This really gave me goose pimples! I'm sure God is smiling down on us and saying 'Hold firm, I'm about to do something new'… He is an awesome God and if it doesn't AMAZE u and d ppl around u YET, God is saying to u 2day, 'You worry too much, I've got this remember' 🙂

  17. lovely lovely, when we go thru test n trails God is usually silent so that he can allow us to make an independent choice. however he wont give us what we cant carry. folashade God bless u
