Testimony: Shea Butter Advice Worked For Me

Hello Eya, I would have shared this since last week but didn’t think  readers would be interested. I was not the poster but read the post from the lady that wanted to know how to cleanse the dark spots on her thighs. I have the exact
same problem of dark skin in between my thighs so after reading the comments advising her to try using shea butter, I quietly went to market the very next day and bought shea butter worth only 300 naira and started using both morning and night.

Actually, I heard she butter darkens the skin and that made m a bit skeptical about using but, After a few days of rubbing, I realized the blackness was beginning to fade so I began to rub even more.

Right now, it is not completely gone but there is a huge difference. My thighs are looking way better  and hopefully everything clears off because I’m not going to stop.
I am grateful to you Aunty Eya, the lady that sent that post and everyone that left a comment encouraging the use of shea butter on black thighs.
Thank you all. I just read the plea to former posters on the blog and started typing my own testimony immediately.
God bless you guys.

    • 1 cup organic raw shea butter (solid)
      1/2 cup coconut oil (solid)
      1/2 cup almond oil (liquid)
      1. Melt shea butter and coconut oil in the top of a double boiler. Remove from heat and let cool for 30 minutes.

      2. Stir in almond oil and essential oils of your choosing.*

3, Place oil mixture in freezer or outside to chill.

      4. Wait until oils start to partially solidify (see photo) then whip until a butter-like consistency is achieved.

      4. Place in clean, glass jar and enjoy! A little goes a long way.

  12. Enter oshodi market and ask for pple selling ORI OYO and buy.

Shea butter is very efficient i use it as body cream for my children right from birth which make thier skin glow, i also use it on my stomach while preggy and after birth to avoid stretch marks, i learnt this at Awe village in Oyo state.

Pple its worth trying but we have fake Ori too.You can only know it by it texture and smell which i dont know how to explain it.I know it real smell because i lived in Awe with the makers for 3years.

    Good luck.

  19. For those asking how to differentiate original okuma (shea butter in igbo) from the fake one. Before you buy, take a little from the sellers and massage onto your wrist. If it disappears immediately into your skin like vaseline, its fake. Original ori should still retain its whitish colour when you massage it on your wrist before gradually becoming absorbed into your skin.
I saw d tip by someone on bellanaija and since then I haven't bought fake again.
