Breakfast spider yam served with baked beans and ketchup. Morning WC, decided to share a childhood breakfast recipe, I once asked my mum the name of this breakfast, when she couldn’t answer I decided to name it spider yam, and spider yam it
became for everyone in the house.
PROCEDURE Peel the yam and cut into small slices, put salt and water in a pot and boil, don’t boil for too long, maximum 15 minutes Break eggs, add salt, Maggi, little yogi (pepper spice) Drain out the water, and pour the yam into a tray for it to get cool, so that the eggs can stick well. Dip yam into the egg and fry ( shallow frying, and add lots of onions) |
