  1. I already ususally make this, although using a slightly different method. Truly, when you eat it ehn…you'll feel like licking the sauce pan 🙂 Beef lovers can also try this with minced meat, or diced beef…but you'll have to cook the beef very well.

  2. Btw, aunty Eya, pls where do you buy shredded chicken? I usually shred my chicken myself either before I cook it, or after cooking it, I let it cool then bring them out, wash my hands and use my hands to shred the chicken. This method helps you get most of the flesh off the bone but I end up almost finishing the chicken on the spot. 🙂 So buying already shredded chicken will save both time and 'long-throat'….:-D

  3. To avoid eating everything on the spot, shred raw chicken.
Shredded chicken can be got from departmental stores. I shredded this myself. Got a live chicken which was prepared at the market. When I got home, I picked out the pepper soup parts and shredded the meaty parts as you can see on the third picture.
    It tastes so, so, good!

  13. Nice blog and i love the way everything comes out natural "no forming" your kitchen your pots just you….thanks for that natural nigerian woman touch.
here is another healthy tip, instead of using flour as a thicken, you can add Irish potatoes either as part of the vegetables or you blend the raw Irish potatoes and use as a thickener.

  20. The fact that veggies are in a meal do not make the meal healthy. Over boiling it removes the nutrients and frying it makes it junk food.
