How do I read my husband’s thoughts? I need help!
people tell me that I look like some one they can trust. I
don’t know.
But one thing is sure, friends love to confide in me. I am not trying to brag here, it’s true.
My former neighbor tried to seek my opinion concerning a matter, I refused to say anything then. That was Just a week before I started typing on my browser and publishing.*wink*
Jemilah was looking at her photo album in her sitting room,
her husband sat right beside her watching news on TV. A couple minutes passed by, none was talking to the other and the kids were already in bed.
When she
realized that there was no conversation happening between them at that moment, she searched her brain for what to say that can distract her husband and get them both talking.
She randomly picked five pictures from the album, lay them on the table and called her husband’s attention to these, then she goes,”my love, are these pics beautiful?”
Lawal responded that they were very lovely pictures. Then she goes further with,” my love, no mortal ever knows when death will come knocking. Then she pauses, cos at this moment, Lawal’s attention is completely focused on her.
Jemila smiled, looked her husband in the eyes and *booom* she spills the question. It kind of sounded stupid to me initially though. She proceeds, peradventure death comes calling tomorrow, which of these pictures will you put up to announce my exit?
He pointed at the one she took when they just got married, and says that this particular one, will be the most suitable for an obituary announcement, boom!
She couldn’t believe her ears cos what she expected him to do was use this opportunity to express love for her, but rather, he comfortably picked one.
In her head,thoughts started rolling *does he truly love me?
Is he wishing me dead?
Now I know he may never miss me, if anything bad happens.
She kept going on and on, and wanted to know how I would feel if my husband reacted in that manner. She says *can you believe that my hubby actually selected an obituary pic for me?*
I promised to get back to her, while I secretly did exactly what she did and asked my hubby to pick.
YOU know what ladies, my smart man has jokingly refused to give an answer to such a *CID* question.
I may just continue to ransack my brain for an answer as I need to “deliver my verdict” to her this week. takia

No nah…that is going too far. Sometimes we women look for answers where we dnt want it. If you can't handle it, dnt ask. If I feel like being 'toasted' by my hub, I toast him first and he responds accordingly….
She doesn't have to get angry at her husband. For crying out loud, she chose to ask him that kinda " silly" question. Men are not mind readers and women have to understand that. If she wanted him to say nice things to her, she should have asked for that or better still start off by saying nice things to him then he'll reciprocate.
