Photos: Rihanna and Prince Harry go HIV screening together as she teases him about the pin prick pain

Prince Harry has taken an HIV test alongside pop superstar Rihanna to highlight World Aids Day.
The pair have taken the tests in Bridgetown on the island of Barbados as his tour of the Commonwealth island comes to a close.
The intimate moment came after the pair had sat side by side in the early hours of this morning at a concert to celebrate Barbados’ 50th anniversary of independence but exchanged just a few words.
Both Rihanna and the prince tested negative after waiting 20 minutes at the HIV drop-in centre which targets men.

Harry, 32, persuaded the 28-year-old Bajan superstar to take the test in public with him today when the pair chatted backstage for 15 minutes last night after the prince delivered a speech at the evening at Kensington Oval cricket ground.
It was the second time that Harry had taken a test in public in five months in an attempt to reduce the stigma surrounding the virus.
The prince had teased the singer that the test would be painful and winced as the needle went into his finger.
Seconds later, Rihanna proved that she was tougher than the prince, saying: ‘You made it seem like it hurts.
‘It’s not as painful as you said this morning.’

Speaking after the test, Rihanna said: ‘I am very positive about what you are doing here.’
The singer, born and raised in Barbados, turned up in a Jeep she drove herself and was not noticed until a few minutes after she arrived.
Of the pin prick test, she said: ‘This is so easy.’
It was hoped that by getting Rihanna to be part of today’s test, the stigma around HIV would be changed in the Caribbean.
A Kensington Palace spokesman said: ‘This is a really positive thing to do. This was only arranged last night.
‘Prince Harry asked her at the concert. They spoke after he had given his speech. They spoke for about 15 minutes.
‘She was very happy to do it. She has had people in her life that she has known who have died from AIDS. She said this is important and she wanted to do this.
‘She has tens of millions of followers on social media alone. Her people are confident that she can reach a billion people through social media.’

Harry and the singer urged Rihanna’s manager Jay Brown to join them but in vain. ‘You’re laughing now,’ Rihanna said. ‘Come and sit here.’
Harry joined in. ‘There’s a spare seat. Anyone else want to come and join us?’ he asked, looking around the assembled journalists.
While they waited for their results, the pair spent the next 20 minutes touring stalls set up in the centre of the capital Bridgetown to promote the Man Aware campaign, urging men in Barbados to get tested.
Aids workers worry that many Caribbean men are unaware that they are carrying the HIV virus and risk infecting others and becoming seriously ill because they refuse to get tested early due to the stigma surrounding the illness.
Harry and Rihanna stopped at a makeshift barber shop set up in a small marquee, where one man was having a shave.
Fabian Sargeant, another HIV counsellor and social worker, explained that a barber shop was a perfect place to raise awareness of the need for HIV testing because it was where people discussed sex, friendship, and what was going on in their lives.
‘I need to go to a barber shop!’ Rihanna said to laughter.
‘Not for sex!’ she added quickly, wagging her finger and laughing.
Harry interjected: ‘Everybody tells their hairdresser everything.’
Mr Sargeant explained that there were so many myths surrounding sex in Caribbean culture.
‘One of the myths is that royalty don’t have sex,’ he said amid laughter.
‘And that royalty has blue blood?’ Harry asked, perhaps hoping to change the subject.
‘Another myth is that royalty does not engage in oral sex,’ Mr Sargeant said.
‘I’m not sitting in that chair,’ Harry said, gesturing towards the barber, as those around him laughed.

Prince Harry and Rihanna’s visit today marked the royal’s 11th day of his two week official visit to the Caribbean.
It was the third time the royal and the superstar have been together in the space of 24 hours.
Last night Harry looked determined to make the most of his evening with the Diamonds singer at the 50th anniversary celebration.
The royal looked dapper in a pair of wine coloured chinos which he paired with a navy shirt for the event.
And the singer stunned in a voluminous pleated cream dress as the pair joined the Prime Minister of Barbados Freundel Stuart.
The prince had met Rihanna earlier that same day where he looked delighted to be introduced to the superstar at an event marking 50 years of the country’s independence.
A smartly-dressed Harry was attending the Prime Minister’s Toast to the Nation at St Ann’s Fort where the pair were pictured shaking hands.

Barbadian beauty Rihanna, who is rumoured to be newly-single after splitting with Drake, stunned in a pale blue V-neck dress and gold bangles, with her hair tied back into a ponytail.
Harry subsequently took to the stage to deliver a message from the Queen congratulating Barbados on their anniversary.
