Looking forward to when Jumia, Payporte and Konga will introduce these services to help fashion lovers who no longer enjoy driving to boutiques to shop but will rather just go online and start ordering with ease.
This service started on Monday January 21. The invitation-only service, called Style Trial, will allow Net-a-Porter’s highest spending customers to order up to 30 pieces to try at home before they buy, for a seven-day trial period.
In cities where Premier delivery is available, Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter EIPs will be able to schedule consultations and appointments with their Personal Shopper, who will arrive at their door with a full rail of clothing, jewellery and watches for them to try in the comfort of their own walk in wardrobe. They’ll even be gifted a silk, monogrammed robe to wear during the fitting while their Personal Shopper advises on their existing and future wardrobe.
The selection of products can either be chosen by the EIPs themselves, or the Personal Shopper can do it for them, according to a brief. Once they have chosen which items they want to keep, payment for those items will be taken automatically, while the unwanted items will be collected immediately.
“These new bespoke offerings are the next innovative step in better serving our customers within the comfort of their homes,” says Net-a-Porter and Mr Porter President Alison Loehnis.
