My Nigerian Pancake Shawarma recipe. you will sure love it. This is Shawarma ingredients stuffed in Nigerian pancakes. After making my normal Nigerian pancakes to eat this morning. I asked myself, why not roll this pancakes with Shawarma ingredients and enjoy?
Because we had all the shawarma ingredients in the kitchen already. I whipped this up in just a few minutes. Here below is my Nigerian shawarma pancake or pancake shawarma. Whichever sounds better. Lol.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups water
1 small sized onion
A teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
2 eggs
INGREDIENTS FOR STUFFING
3 large green peppers
1 medium sized onion
1 small cabbage
2 seasoning cubes
salad cream 1/2 kg chicken or more
salad cream 1/2 kg chicken or more
5 boiled, fried or grilled chicken franks (small sausages)
salt to taste
oil for stir fry
DIRECTION FOR MAKING NIGERIAN PANCAKES
- Sieve the flour with salt and sugar into a bowl.
- Add the chopped onion and water
- Mix well before adding the eggs.
- Mix, till smooth and a bit runny
- Fry in a greased pan and set aside.
- Paroil the chicken with salt and onion, debone and set aside
DIRECTION FOR MAKING PANCAKE SHAWARMA STUFFING
- Stir fry the chopped onion with green pepper and seasoning cube till fragrant
- .Add the cabbage and Nigerian salad cream, stir briefly, turn off the heat and mix with the cooked chicken.
- Place vegetables and sausage on a pancake and roll.
- Serve your Nigerian pancake shawarma with a drink.
