This year is not a time to joke with our prayer lives. Times are changing fast, imagine the rate of rituals; from stealing ladies’ underpants to now buying hair from barbing salons and hair dressing salons for rituals. The times are not so good but we can dwell in the secret place of the most high and continue to abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
He is the same as has always been. The problem is WE being unable to connect and remain connected to that source of power.
Keep the fire burning. Keep the prayer altar alive and see if God won’t prove himself alive. The testimony below will help rekindle our prayer lives… Let’s not forget that God is not limited to time. The future, the present and Past is the same with him. If God can heal someone of 14 year old asthma, what can’t he do. Healed…
HOW ASTHMA DISAPPEARED WITHOUT MEDICATIONS
“For 14 years, I suffered from asthma. As a result, breathing became an uphill task and I was restricted to certain things and duties. I came to this Church for the first time in October 2010 with a friend. That day, I came casually; so, I returned casually.
Since then, I have been attending Shiloh expecting that my healing would come one day. However, when Shiloh 2015 tagged, ‘From Glory to Glory’ was announced, I came prepared with full expectation to return with my testimony.
While the Bishop was ministering during the evening session on the third day, he said, ‘From Glory To Glory is not a wish but work.’ He also said, ‘Never allow your situation to change the scriptures.’ I claimed those words and went home satisfied that my healing was sure. When I got home, I started searching the scriptures and from 3 John 1:2, light broke forth and I started claiming my healing.
On Sunday, January 10, 2016, I attended the Communion Service with the assurance that my testimony will be perfected via the Communion. I partook of the Communion and declared my healing at the same time.
After that service, I bought the book, Rescued From Destruction authored by Pastor (Mrs.) Faith Oyedepo. While reading the book, I got to a section where she wrote, ‘Remember, the God we serve is too faithful to fail. He is dependable and He is more than enough.’ So I said, ‘No more inhalers! God, You are all I need.’
That night, I slept like a baby with no problem in breathing. Also, I woke up with no form of pain in my chest and without any obstruction in my breathing.
Furthermore, when the 21-day prayer and fasting for 2016 was declared, I was happy because I knew God would do something else for me. I remembered that Bishop said, ‘Set out three days each and press your request.’ On the first three days, I prayed that God should gather multitudes and send His Word with power for the encounter of each worshipper. He proved Himself by filling our Zonal Centre to the brim that people sat outside.
Indeed, the 2016 Winners’ Personalized Prophetic Declarations number 10, 16, 32 and 33 have been fulfilled in my life. I give all the glory to the God of my father, Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, Who is too faithful to fail!” —Obi Judith
