How to cook Local palm oil stew with spiced Turkey.
Eya: Palm oil stew is one meal I haven’t prepared or tasted. I hear it’s very yummy and nutritious, especially with this serotonin containing turkey innit (helps us sleep). With this recipe, I’m going to try it cos I need all that Vitamin A in palm oil. My
eyes are beginning to look at the screen for too long, so I guess it’s high time I gathered all the vitamin A.

IMO Ella, palm oil stew is a nigerian/local delicacy and as such doesn't require d thyme, curry and benny chicken u added to it. They will only end up giving it "oyibo" taste like the regular stew. Next time just try using only maggi or knorr, salt, onion, pepper to spice ur meat. Then when u are done frying d pepper/tomatoes/onions mixture, you add ur stock and meat and allow to simmer properly. Then add a little of fresh sliced nchanwu/effirin leaves and let simmer for a few minutes. It gives it that local and earthy taste/aroma. Nice post though……….Aijay
