bed and started thinking… about this loudspeakers that are just blaring in the whole neighborhood
On days like this one, I begin to wish that I live in pars of the world where everybody is so civilized that he thinks of the next person and how his actions are going to affect them before doing anything.
This early morning and late night loud church activities became so much a problem that some people came together and called the church’s attention to the fact that “we can no longer sleep in our houses.” This was about a month ago. The church leadership promised to do something about it. *chuckles*
As at this morning, the loudspeakers are still on the roof of the church. For how long can one continue to live like this. Noise can be really really annoying and frustrating.
Moving out of this area is the only solution right now, because even though we hear that the authorities have served them notice, we are still up every morning listening to church music.
Coping with noise pollution is what most Nigerians are going through, as a result of the multiplication of churches in residential areas, the use of generating sets for electricity
and the loud music at weekends when kids birthday parties are being held.
The afternoons and evenings are better. For me o, I do not look forward to nights and mornings.
Have you experienced noise pollution before?
