Good evening Aunty Eya. Hope ur ok and enjoying the weekend. My name is Hillary and I’m a reader of your blog.I have a problem which ill love you to share on your blog.
I recently
watched how to check for lumps in the breast and when i did there was a lump and i went to the lab for a scan and it came out positive and even showed that both breasts have lumps my question now is which hospital is the best and affordable for me to go to for the operation?(i live in abuja). I’ll be grateful if I get good response. Thanks

Hmmm, God is ur strength!
Lump is not a big deal, I'll personally advice you go to a government specialist hospital, if you'll do a private hospital you need a good referal to be absolutely sure you ar not falling into the hands of non-challant peepz!
All the best! You'll be fyn in no time!
I pray so oh cos I'm really freaked out. So any government hospital is ok?poster
Yes, I also will prefer a Government Specialist hospital to be sure you are seeing well trained qualified Doctors and not drug seller turned Doctor.
Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital, Federal Staff Hospital, Garki Hospital or National Hospital should be good.
Go to Garki general hospital that was were my naibour operated hers.

What kind of operation are you going for Sis? From what I understand you say the scan came back positive for lumps meaning they could see the lumps my question is are you looking for a place to go and have the lumps extracted and tested or have they been tested found to be malignant and you need a mastectomy? sorry dear your question was not very clear but in any case I would advise you seek a second opinion at the government hospitals mentioned and then do whatever operation the doctors there recommend
Be it malignant or benign, tumors or lumps are meant to be removed!
Note: benign tumor today can turn malignant tomorrow!…
Moreover, she's not doing a "Mastectomy" her breast is not being removed, the lump is.
National hospital Abuja.

Pls was it an ultrasound scan u did, educate us cos I'm thinking of doing a mamogram but I guess scan is cheaper if it can detect lumps too.

Ace you didn't have to be condescending I asked a simple question because I did not clearly understand the poster's question calm down.
Hey, what's condescending or derogatory in my response, I was explaining ba!
Well, sorry if you feel that way!
Dear Anon 11:26, you can only do a mammogram from 40yrs and above, if u're less than 40yrs, u'll need to do a sonogram.

That's the spelling.
That's not exactly true. I'm thirty and had a mammogram performed because of my history. I think it can be done at any age depending on the indications. I had the mammogram done at Medicaid, Wuse 2. Cant remember how much is cost.
