Good day Aunty Eya. Please I need help on how to control my snoring. I actually used to snore (very minimal) but my hubby never complained or rather noticed because he sleeps deep but now that I’m pregnant, I realized the noise is on the high side.
I’m actually bothered because my husband had to leave our bedroom for another last night and when I asked
him why he did, he said the noise was just too loud and he couldn’t sleep, which I feel is quite embarrassing. We’ve been married for less than a year .
Please what can I do to stop or reduce the sound?
Looking forward to your kind response and that of the WC family.
No email ID please.
Thanks

Hahahahaha I can't help but Lol at the office on reading this
No more sleepless night for your husband so Worry No more sister…
Just Go to any good pharmacy around you & buy "SNORE-FREE NOSE CLIP".
It is an anti-snoring device, it is not xpensive, very small and easy to use. Its between three to four thousand naira or even less.
My aunty is a snore victim and this has helped bring silence in the house @ nite.
Try it and thank me later.
Thanks Timi, I'll go look for it.
I suggest you follow Timi's advice or inform your husband to get ear plugs.

Lol. Poster I thought it was only me o. I can even hear myself snore when I'm not deeply asleep.
There are a few things you can buy at good pharmacies to help such as nose clips and patches but please find out from the pack or pharmacist if its pregnancy friendly and I can imagine being very uncomfy with the nose clip.
My dear the snoring will pass once you've had ur baby. Its caused by the extra weight of pregnancy and the growing uterus.
I'm surprised ur hubby can hear you snore considering he sleeps deep. Mine sleeps deep too but I can't even compare who snores more between us coz his snore na FIRE but when I'm not pregnant I also can't sleep sometimes from his snoring so I understand how ur hubby feels.
If I were u I'll b glad to have d bed to myself. I have pains in my hip bone when I sleep due to d way d baby is positioned in the uterus so I move around almost 360 degrees in bed all through the night so I get to have the bed to myself that also means less intimacy so I'm happy coz I don't want any1 touching at d moment.
Goodluck and safe delivery.
@Lizzy, lol. You are quite funny. I say a big AMEN to your prayer.
The best is is Cpap machine. I'm not sure about the spelling. It works like magic. If you can't get it, there are other alternatives, nose strips, nose clips, they even have some you put in your mouth.
You can go to the pharmacy and ask for the options
Try the snore free nose patches. They are very effective. U have to use one per night.
There must exist a particular position you love to sleep in, that position affects your nasal cavity and allow's it to slant in a way that "noise" is being produced when you breath.
Snoring also reaches it's height when you are "stressed". NOTE: you tend to sleep deeper and breath harder when you are stressed. Try to cut down on whatever you deem is stressing you, it could be physical or psychological.
Lastly, you could use a nose clip, but would you be religious with the usage? There would be nights you won't just feel like or simply forget to use it.
Anyway, best of luck!
to add to it…you may likely have added little weight and its affecting your nasal cavity.
@Ace, you are right, I only have to sleep on my sides which I'm not so used to and the stress at work isn't really helping issues too.
Thanks to everyone for your warm advice, I appreciate.
Tanx peeps . Getting hubby a gift 2 Moro … Nose clips
Lmao…best gift of century;)
You can try a snoring guard. I bought one from Stella white and it’s a mouth guard that practically eliminates snoring. It’s quite comfortable so it won’t bother you when you sleep 🙂
