How to preserve Nigerian pear ube. Nigerian pear can’t last long especially in this rainy season where they start getting soft once water wets them. Some can survive a few days but bot up to a week. We rush pear in my house cos of this.
These ones came in late, I was too tired that night to go roast pear and they looked like the next morning won’t meet them alive so, I hurriedly washed and packed in a Ziploc bag and dumped in the freezer.
They were forgotten and remembered one week after. They came in handy when
I wanted a light dinner.

Roast frozen pear tastes very fresh, there’s no difference.
These can also be cooked by soaking in boiling water for some seconds until they begin to get soft but I prefer roasting.
Pear can be enjoyed with bread, boiled yam, boiled plantain or roasted plantain, boiled or roast corn, and even with drinking garri. I hear pear can also be served with Nigerian moi moi or as a dessert to your three-course meals, served with many Nigerian meals.

Saisho owner, I don't know how that model looks like. Connect to electricity and follow thye instruction on the manual na. It's already weekend. Just know which direction increases and which reduces the heat. Can you do Naija grilled chicken? Maybe I should just do a post on grilled chicken this night o. Mine is a very small kitchen barbacue machine that's easy to use. I'll look for pics and share.
