My assorted meat gravy with vegetables
There are many gravy recipes on this blog; shredded chicken gravy, shredded beef gravy, shredded goat gravy, fresh fish gravy and all sorts. For gravy lovers, there is more than enough here for you. I made this one with assorted beef parts including
biscuit bones and beef sef. It tasted great.
This gravy can be served with rice, pasta, plantain, or even Irish potatoes. It is best served hot.
INGREDIENTS:
2kg assorted meats
a handful of beef to enhance taste
2 bulbs medium sized onion
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/4 cup baking flour to thicken
2 seasoning cubes
Two leaves cabbage
2 medium sized carrots
1 large red bell pepper (tatashey)
1 large green pepper

- Thirdly. Add flour slowly to cooked meats while stirring, so you don’t over thicken.Cover and leave to simmer again for about 3 to 5 minutes. Check, taste and turn off the heat.
- Fourtly, stir fry the vegetables for about a minute with seasoning cubes and add to cooked, thicken gravy.
Serve with boiled rice.
