How I make chicken gizzard fried rice for my lunch box
If you follow @WIVESCONNECTION on Instagram, you’d have seen where I explained that I cooked this simple fried rice between 6 and 7 am to pack for Monday School lunch.
On Mondays, I usually pack left over rice from Sunday but this week Sunday saw us serving pounded yam with
white soup (See Nigerian white soup with cow tail recipe). The difference between this and other fried rice recipes is the use of gizzard in place of liver. Cooked and chopped gizzard pieces are now my favourite for fried rice.
