Problems with farting from my front Passage instead of behind. (Vaginal farts embarrassing me).
Dear Eya and wives connection blog readers. What can I do about vaginal farts after delivery?
How you doing? God bless everyone. Vaginal farts disturbing me after I
gave birth to my baby vaginally.
I wrote you some weeks ago … The first time mum with an unstitched tear I sustained during delivery and I got a few suggestions that helped (God bless everyone),I feel better now, the tear has closed up but the problem is that
I realised I fart through my vagina uncontrollably.
Pls how do I go about this…. Farting from front passage or vaginal farts as my friend calls it is not fun. The fart is really smelly and sounds right out of my vagina. What can make a new mom fart from there instead of the anus?
My Reply:
HOW TO STOP VAGINAL FARTS (Farting from behind, queefing or vaginal flatulence)
Poster, please start kegels. Kegel exercises will help tighten your pelvic floors and send the vaginal farts back to the anus.
Finally, let the Doctor k now about it ok. See a Doctor and get help. They may have other medications or prescription that will help stop your farting from front passage (Vaginal farting). Also check the comments below for tips from other experienced mums.
It's called vaginal fart. Pelvic floor exercises should help tighten that place, you know delivery has weakened and pulled out that area which needs time to tighten up.
Do kegel exercise.#works wonders# am new here tho*winks*
madam take hot things for now avoid anything cold, and sit on hard surface alot, eg wooden chair, or the floor, avoid mattress and soft cushion. that was what i was told to do and it worked for me.
Have you tried kegel exercise? if not, try it and I'm sure you will see results. Pls visit http://www.alabekee.blogspot.com
it stops on its own with time… so do ur kegels n give it small time
The things nobody tells you about childbirth. What we women put our bodies through to become a mother.
I hope you find your cure my dear.
it will go my dear.
I had the same problem but mine was having no control over my faeces, infact i pooed two times on my pad, it was horrible. My mum told me to sit on a small wooden stool(nwanyi nodulu okwu in igbo) it's a kitchen stool for old women in the village,u can buy it from a carpenter. When you want to sit pull your two legs together tightly and sit. My mum said that the woman's body is like gum, so after delivery it gums back together again. I don'have the problem again after three months, so relax it will be okay.

My dear, this is normal with child birth, if you're observant, you will notice the pain is more when the breast is full and needs to be sucked by your baby. give it time! you can also put a pack of ice on it if the pain is unbearable.

@ zara, always make sure your nipples are pushed right inside baby's mouth, let that sweet little mouth cover even the areola . It can be very painful if nipples are not pushed right inside his mouth while nursing, can make them really sore. Sorry, do it right and you'll be fine.
Please let's not be rude na, if we can't think of names, maybe some other reader can help out. There's nothing wrong with asking for name suggestions, the expectant mom is not Ibibio.
No Doris, retire from funlicious blogging? Don't worry, just a matter of time, there's not much I can do now.
Zara make sure your nipples are inside the baby's mouth when breastfeeding. I experienced the same thing. Baby's small mouth, large nipple and it couldn't enter his mouth while feeding. I shed tears while breastfeeding until his mouth could open wide enough to contain everything. Just make sure your baby's mouth covers the whole nipple upto the areola.
@Zara if u r expecting a girl u can name her 'meyaya' meaning 'I'm beautiful'. KiniObong is another good name meaning 'in God's time' n it's unisex. ToyoObong meaning 'remember God'
Anietie.
