A man lost his donkeys at a time when these were among the most prized possessions to have. He is so depressed and sends his son in search of these donkeys. This young man searched three days with no sign of the donkeys. Suddenly, his servant remembers they could get help from a seer. They look for and find the old seer who tells them “those donkeys have been found and right now, your old father back home is no longer worried about the donkeys, but worried about your safety.
I know why these donkeys got lost. Why? To
enable the young Saul meet the Samuel in charge of his destiny. Losing those donkeys happened supernaturally. The owner wasn’t careless. He did his best but those donkeys needed to disappear, for young Saul to locate the one that would anoint him king. The loss of these donkeys was orchestrated by a stronger force that needed to pull that young man to his lifting.
We all experience situations we never asked for. The things we do not want in our lives, we go through times of pain and unhappiness. Like the old man that lost his most prized possessions (Donkeys), we go through times of depression and confusion. These things are needed to bring out the YOU that has been hidden somewhere. Things don’t go as planned, circumstances we lose control over and feel like all supplications get stuck on the rooftop. “These times” are not pleasant. Ordinarily, no one wants anything that causes pain but these are needful. The lost donkeys made him go three days with limited food and water searching every corner.
Those donkeys were found at last, but not even by the son who went searching everywhere. They were not meant to be found by him. The search for lost donkeys led him to the “stranger” that anointed him king.
We don’t like like bad situations, we hate disappointment and loss. Things do not always go the way we plan. EVERYTHING works together for our good. In the end we get to know why some unpleasant things happened the way they did…

aunty Eya pls check ur mail. thanks
very true! all things work together for good, it may not seem good at some point, but being confident that the alpha and omega is in charge, he is the hope of creation and the joy of the world.
Aunty Eya the Evangelist hehehehe I salute!welldone.Yeah!what you said is true.
Very true, a guy I dated for 3 years and was planning marriage with dumped me because, his mom threatened to commit suicide if doesn't marry the daughter of a fellow Christian mother she had in mind for him . I almost died of heartbreak. He married her and on his next trip abroad he was caught in Malaysia with drugs and I heard he was jailed for 35 yrs. I don't know if it is true, but he has not been back since 2001. I see his mom in church and still kneel down to greet her cos if not for her I won't be with the where I am today. I am married with 3 sons now and whenever I see the wife in church I will be like if not for God that will be me. Been catholic, she is still waiting. I pray they release him o. But it all worked for my good.
Thank you for sharing. A lesson to me. Thanks.
What a mighty deliverance! When things like this happen it would seem as if all hope is lost and nothing good could ever come our way again.
Some people even bkm suicidal or go as far inflicting serious harm on the other party, even murder at times!
I wish we could all make this our mindset. There is always light at the end of the tunnel!
Expectations!!!! That is what it is called. We always expect from people and when they disappoint us we tend 2hate,dislike and regret!if we can live our 2day like the last and leave our 2moro 4God. 4 he knows our heart desire and his ways of doing things are marvelous.
Sometimes things happen to us for the manifestation of God's glory.
There's always light at the end of the tunnel, thank God this light is not managed by PHCN.
