So yesterday, there was this vagina cleaning Facebook Group post that I guess a lot of us saw because it generated thousands of comments in arguments and disagreements (See below). The poster advised ladies to try and insert a finger when they wash the vagina because without that it’s not properly washed and can stink.
So many disagreed with her like the argument by Chizzy that I shared here on the blog. Others praise her for saying the truth.
Well, when people talk about using a finger to clean while washing your vagina, that doesn’t mean that you insert the whole finger in there. Just a tip of the finger can do a whole lot of clean and from the feel on your finger after those round swipes, you know that you are clean and your body actually signals you with a good feel.
I understand sha why some of us ladies can’t afford to use one middle finger to swipe and clean. The artificial nails don’t help. Well, the spring cleaning can be delayed until the beautiful nails are off.
To tell us the truth. The self cleaning of the vj during menstruation is not enough. After the oza room, during ovulation, it needs a little bit of extra cleaning. If you are among the women that say that place shouldn’t be touched because it does self clean.
No problem but when next you have your bath a few days after za oza room, drain, fill the bathtub with water, squat in there and use just a finger to swipe and try to clean (Not deep, just around the entrance after the labia). Doesn’t the water look milky kind of?
If your bathtub is white and you can’t see any difference, fill a large colourful bowl with water, sit in and clean with a finger. Does the water remain the same? It’s not an infection. That’s accumulated spermatozoa or discharges during ovulation. You don’t have to wait for menstruation to come flush them. One finger can do the cleaning.
