Do You think Shawarma Is A Profitable Business?

My name is ………..  And I need your professional advice. I am a newly married woman who just lost her job. I live in Ikorodu in Lagos and I am looking towards opening a shawarma joint/ business.

I love shawarma a lot and I want to turn that love into a money making venture. Do you think it’s a profitable business or are there other businesses I can do.

 I hate
being idle and I would run gaga if I don’t start something soon. Please I would appreciate if you can put this up in your blog and let your readers also help out. Thanks…

  1. There are areas that some businesses will not thrive, it depends on the part of ikorodu and do the people there look like "sharwarma loving people", can they afford such "luxury" when they can get meatpie at mrs biggs. I think you should consider these things first

  2. Sharwarma buiz is good but can u sustain d buiz? Sharwarma is not an everyday snack and sometimes you mite not get enough customers in a day, pharps only on weekends. Why don't you start with someting less complicated like meatpie or lovely pastries or evn popcorn. Then u cud ask ur customers if dey'll like sharwarma atleast by then you would hav built up a huge number of customers for yourself.

  3. Yeah like Ada said you might want to add other snacks to it. But study the area and the people living there and know the kind of things they like to eat before starting your venture

  8. A guy brings in breakfast to my office daily, well packaged sandwich and sachet milk and choco, for just 200 naira, and it sells like crazy! I'm sure he moves round other offices too..
I love mobile biz,(biz on motion) it gives u enof time to do other things, and not affect biz @ all.
Think of the things pple lack in ur
area, create a gud packaging for such, and do door to door delivery if possible

I slept off while typing this last nite…
