Nigerian tomato stew with baked beans. |
This baked beans tomato stew is the fastest and easiest delicious tomato stew we can make. It doesn’t need any tomato cooking expertise to get delicious because the fish and baked beans in tomato sauce automatically gives your stew a very good aroma and taste.
There was no need for step by step pics because the method is same as that of Nigerian emergency stew except that here I used baked beans in tomato sauce.
We already have a pot on how to cook very red tomato stew.
I don’t want to call this emergency stew but it really comes in handy when you cannot go out to get fresh stuff. The stew is very good with bread, boiled yam, plantain, pasta and even swallow. If your tomato stew always tastes sour, then visit wives connection secret to delicious tomato stew

You guys haven’t noticed my new pots even with me putting them in your face like with very large pictures? I thought you’ll yab so I was quietly waiting with a reply that never got the chance to be typed and published.
Well, even though no one asked I will talk.
An anonymous comment about me cooking with dirty pots made me realize that some don’t know the difference between “old” and dirty. These wares have seen better years. I have been married for over a decade o:), close to two decades maybe so, you can imagine a pot sitting on the cooker daily for twenty years cos some were being used even before I entered this house as a wife.
Even we as men and women, let’s compare our pictures of twenty years back and those we are taking in 2014, is there no big difference? So you can imagine… How can I cook with dirty wares? Am I sick or something? Eya the squeaky clean woman.
After I read that comment, I tried to be stubborn and just ignore the Anonymous sister but e no gree me o. I had to carry myself jeje to a kitchenware shop to update a little. I am very happy seeing new items in my kitchen, feels like a new kitchen and I would have loved to thank you Anon, if you had written your name with your comment, because these days the sparkle in this kitchen makes me wanna stay longer in here.
Right now I’m blogging from the kitchen counter as I make breakfast. Just finished making breakfast and I’m boiling tomatoes for blending and storing. As I type, the tomato is boiling. Before, maybe I would have left the laptop on the dining to be shuttling dining and kitchen while cooking.
Please Anony sister, those pots are not dirty. They are old. Do you dispose of old kitchen ware? It’s not wise economically. I still use my old kitchen items sha but not all the time. I tire to type abeg, running late for third service.

You’ll enjoy this. You can cook with fresh fish instead of sardines. Fresh fish will give it a very very yummy taste.

For the pregnancy test, I'll suggest you try a blood test. It works better with early pregnancies.
Congrats in advance!
Tnx Aunt Eya. God bless you. Keep up the good job. This blog has been a blessing.
Nice one Eya, but for those of us who warm our stews daily because of light wahala, won't the beans get soft in say like the third day?
I made this today though yet to taste it but the boys have no complaints so I guess it's delicious
I think it wd. I'll advise you add beans only when it's not a very big pot of stew. Warming beans morning and nightn for three days, you won't enjoy it on the third day.
Smilingggg
Wow Nmie, thank you for the feedback. No complaints actually mean they are enjoying the meal. You will love it too.
bon apetit.
Wow,Aunty Eya tu comprone france?#plsifuknowfreanchabegcorrectmeoh#and if u can not read what I wrote forget it #smiliing
Aunty Eya thanks for another quick meal. This will come very handy on a lazy or tired day.
I didn't notice your new pots because I"m more interested in the contents of the pot. If it were your popular old frying pan, lots of anons would have left horrible comments. Nevertheless, its a good thing to upgrade.
I'm Def trying this b4 d end of the week @aunty Eya what do you have in your pepper sauce? Isn't it the normal tatase, rodo and tomatoes seeds?
@Able mom, I started learning French but time to continue. Thanks:)
Hahaha, sis Liz, you got me laughing. You know now, if I posted with that old fry pan, some Anonymous sisters would have told me how offended they are. Now, they won't come and tell me my pot is inviting. o.
You won't regret trying this with some basmati rice.
No Sarafina, no tomatoes, no tatashe just grind fresh pepper, onion and enough seasoning cubes together, pour in oil then place on the cooker and cook for a few minutes in low heat. Do not let it get too hot and fry.
