INGREDIENTS FOR CURRIED MACARONI WITH FISH AND CHICKEN NECK
- 1 pack macaroni
- 1/2 kg chicken neck
- 1 canned sardine.
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 seasoning (knorr cubes)
- 2 ripe bananas
- salt to taste
- 1 small red onion
- 1 teaspoon ground fresh pepper or more
- Stock.
I boiled the chicken neck briefly with some water, onion, and salt to enable me get some stock for cooking the macaroni. After which, the chicken neck is fried in soya oil.
The macaroni is boiled with the stock from the chicken neck, curry, pepper, seasoning and salt are added to taste. The pot is covered for a while before the fish is added. I used tomato flavoured canned fish, so I didn’t have to boil the fish before adding. The pot is covered and allowed to cook.
when it was tender enough, that is to my own taste,I turned off the cooker. The bananas are chopped into tiny pieces and added to the dished plates of food with the chicken neck.
I cannot eat more than one piece or half a piece, all these pieces of meat here were just put there for garnishing. after the pics, I took them off before eating my macaroni.
If you have not tried eating your macaroni with ripe bananas, just try it. You will enjoy the taste. Do not pour in too many banana chops, one banana is just OK for a plate of macaroni. It is yummy.
