- sausages
- milk
- sugar or honey

- ripe bananas (optional).

Procedure For Cooking:
- Add quaker oats and a little salt to boiling water
- Stir and allow to get as soft as you like it
- Serve with milk, sausages and sugar or honey.
I like to chew my oats, so, I do not allow them to boil for long. In 2 minutes, mine is ready. The kids love theirs with bananas.
I chop a few slices of ripe bananas into the boiling oats, continue to stir until they mix with the oats.
You can buy banana flavoured oats or just add fresh ripe bananas while cooking.
The taste and flavor of ripe bananas in quaker oats is so GOOD.

Hello Anon 11:54am, I don't add milk to mine. I serve others with milk but eat mine without it. Thing is I make sure it is salted while cooking. I make mine lighter and a bit soupy, that way it is easy to eat.
I add honey to my oats, that takes care of milk and sugar.
Breakfast today. Easy to make and filling.
