Breakfast Ideas 1:
bread rolls with cheese, vegetable salad and beverages. |
We have heard and read too many times that breakfast is the best meal of the day, and as such should not be missed. Most mornings, there is just no time to come up with a healthy
breakfast for the family. I will be sharing a few suggestions of “quick fix breakfast” for busy families.
Suggestions For Breakfast Ideas 1:
- Bread rolls
- cheese
- vegetable salad with or without dressing. I use dressing to enable me eat raw tomatoes.
- Hot beverage for the ladies and Moringa Tea or green tea for hubbies
For more on breakfast ideas, scroll right down and view the Menu Timetable.
Breakfast Ideas 2:
Suggestions:
- Ham, most kids love Turkey Mortadella ham and enjoy it sandwiched in their bread.
- Wheat bread, although I still enjoy white flour bread even though I know that wheat bread is healthier.
- Vegetable salad
- Cheese
- Hot beverage for sweet tooth ladies like m*. Green tea or Moringa for more health conscious families.
Aside from breakfast ideas on the Menu Timetable, I’d like to start sharing a few suggestions to busy families who sometimes cannot really think of what to serve for breakfast.
To see the Menu Timetable, Scroll right down to the end of the blog. I will try my best to review that Timetable once every month.
Just a little blogging tip, I think u should pick a template with just one side bar, so that the main body of your posts is larger, since you post a lot of pictures. It will look better that way. Just my two cents.
Thanks Madame Sting! I am going to try that right away.

Stumbled on this blog today (from LIB) and I must say dis is a very unique blog with lotta interesting stuffs 2 learn. Keep d good works coming, Eya. U gat me glued!
Its not an easy task to get kids to easy salad despite they being taught about healthy eating in school. For my kids salad is a No No for breakfast but definitely cereal, toast, bread rolls or a sandwich is a YES. I sometimes have to disguise d salad or veg in their meals or take out their meat until they eat the salad. The breakfast u put up is very colourful and inviting and above all healthy. Lizzy
will be starting my annual leave soonest, kindly send me your house address i need to come for serious turorial..
abeg Eya dont say NO oo.. biko
Hahaha Tina, no problem at all.
@Lizzy, surprisingly my kids prefer their salad to bread. They love it anytime, BUT, with so much dressing though. That much dressing is where I have a problem with them.
Hey ma'am, please go to my blog to pick your liebster award *hugs*

I've been reading your blog posts and leaving comments. Really loving what you're doing here! 🙂
Yea, aunty Eya thumbs up
…Plus I've learnt so much. You should really consider having a cook book if you don't want to open a restaurant 😉
T%hanks Eya for these breakfast ideas. It does the best for people like me who want to stay back a bit longer in bed.
Looks delicious! Can't wait to serve it for my husband and kids before going to work and school. Nothing beats the feeling of eating a delicious meal early in the morning. It just brightens everyone's day. Thanks a lot for these recipes. 🙂

Hello. Pls where do you get your moringa tea from? I live in Abuja and I once saw it at the market being sold by those men that hawk dried ginger and garlic spices in bottles. Not sure how to make what I saw into tea? It was dried and ground.
PS: was wondering what made your blog more appealing to me than other Nigerian food blogs and just realised it's because you are relatable. You use ingridients found locally and the pictures and step by step processes make it all easy. I don't even have to print out the recipes like I usually do with others cos once I've read through, I know what to do almost as if I was in the kitchen with you. Keep up the good work ma'am!
Thanks Adele! If you live in Abuja, you can get Moringa Tea at GRAND SQUARE or SAHAD STORES.
Enjoy your healthy Tea, I will dump my beverages soon and join Hubby with Moringa all the way!
