This is how to make coffee with scent leaf if you are a coffee drinker that loves the taste of scent leaves in pepper soup.
I drink a little coffee in a small mug daily..So as not to get bored, I vary my coffee a bit. After mixing coffee drinks with different foods like milk..sugar, ginger and lemon, I plan on also adding garlic to my coffee to explore more.
I enjoyed ginger in coffee more than I did with lemon.
After drinking with ginger, lemon rested.
Now I tried drinking coffee with scent leaf and got hooked. It tastes really good and Honestly adding scent leaf to coffee makes me stay longer before feeling any hungry.
I’m aware that we Nigerians like to eat our milo or ovaltine tea and bread with egg or sardine. Sometimes tea and bread with baked beans. I don’t know if there are Nigerians who love to take coffee in the morning but sha o, I’ll still share my scent leaf coffee recipe just incase. So, let’s go there.
HOW TO MAKE COFFEE WITH SCENT LEAF
- First add the coffee to a cup. I use 1/2 teaspoon coffee for my small mug.
- Place two to three scent leaves in the cup.
- Pour boiling water and as the water gets the keavea wilted, the flavour just combines with coffee flavour and gives an interesting taste. I love the taste of coffee and scent leaf combined.
- Sweeten and enjoy or just drink like that without sweeteners if that’s what you like.
Since I started to add scent leaf to my coffee, I have become very aware and observant of what happens to the scent leaf plant at the backyard.
Now O ensure it is watered regularly why? Because it is now very useful.
Sometimes I buy some from the vegetable sellers and keep in the fridge for my early morning coffee.
