I need details of reliable shipping agents to get my goods from China to Nigeria
Hello Dee,
My name is Mr. A.B. I just read your article on buying items from Alibaba and shipping to Nigeria successful. Recently I saw an “electric bike” I love to purchase from Alibaba cos I am a fan of clean energy and after contacting the seller the price came out at $950.
When asked if they could ship to Lagos Port their response was positive with a shipping fee of $220. I am not too confident about them handling my shipping to Nigeria. Once my goods get to Nigeria it will be another issue with the dreaded Nigerian custom.
I am writing to please request from you if possible the details of any reliable and affordable shipping agents in China that would be able to successfully shipping my item (electric bike) to Nigeria. I am hoping that you will have a list of reliable agents and I will appreciate if my request is granted.
Thank you and hoping to hearing from you soon.
My reply on reliable shipping agents from China to Nigeria
Hello Mr A.B.
Thanks for reading the blog. Dee will be informed about your mail. We are also going to publish it anonymously hoping she sees and responds to you. After the Alibaba Shopping lecture, she specifically asked readers not to end Emails but to leave comments so that others can benefit from the questions and from her replies too.
If she gets to see this, we are sure that she’ll reply you with details of how to successfully ship your bicycle from Alibaba to Lagos.
Below is an Old comment from Dee on shipping from Alibaba to Nigeria
I shop from there and they deliver to my door step here in Nigeria.
The only problem is the method of shipping. If it’s not something like dhl or ems or fedex or any of those well known shipping methods, it might be difficult for you to track your order which makes it difficult to know when your goods arrives and that’s where the problem comes most time because here in Nigeria, it’s usually difficult to find an address because of some streets that are not on the map.
So, my advice is that, if you want to shop from there, make sure you don’t use china-post or any method of shipping that is not known so you can easily track your order and incase you don’t get it, you can go to their office with your tracking details or something.
Yes, if you don’t receive your orders, you won’t confirm that you’ve received the orders and aliexpress will release your money back to you.
I wish I had time to explain more about aliexpress to you. I’m their customer there.
