It’s holiday, a full house and I had to beg that they all go eat proper breakfast before touching this chin chin again ,as every round taken out of the pot is immediately rushed and with that kind of chin chin love how do I get enough to arrange and snap good pictures for us?
The fun of cutting chin chin with a pizza cutter, made them take over the cutting of the remaining ones and we completed the frying together.

For them o, this is the best chin chin recipe yet, even though for me, all the chin chin recipes on the blog and every Nigerian chin chin recipe I tried, tasted good.
I love this snack, whether crunchy or not. My only wahala comes when the chin chin is too hard or too sweet. Aside that, chin chin is a great snack.

INGREDIENTS FOR SUGAR FREE CHIN CHIN WITH HONEY
4 cups all purpose flour
Four tablespoons honey
4 teaspoons evaporated milk ( I used peak evaporated milk)
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
One tablespoon softened butter (Soften by applying a little heat).
1 and 1/2 cups warm water
These ingredients here are the reason my chin chin turned out awesome. I have them to thank and make a sweet promise to them that this is now my go to chin chin recipe even though sometimes, I may still use the chin chin recipe with sugar and nutmeg too.
Directions for making sugar free chin chin.
DIRECTION
1. Sieve flour into a bowl
2 Add all the other ingredients except water.
3. With your finger, mix for about a minute
4. Now add the warm water and mix into a dough ball. When it’s properly mixed, it may not feel as smooth in your hands until you sprinkle in a little more flour and that immediately smoothens everything up.

5. On a lightly floured surface, flatten the dough and cut to desired shapes. A pizza cutter makes the job easy and fast, with even shapes.
6.Fry in medium to hot oil till brown.
7. Let it cool a bit before serving with a chill drink and enjoying your sugar free chin chin with friends and family.
