Any Shaving Cream For Private Area? Please Help

Hi, good evening. Please, can you post this on WC blog for me?

I use shaving stick to shave my private area and it gives me bumps. I want to

ask other ladies, are there shaving creams for the private area? If there are, how good are they and what are their names and their cost if possible ? Do they end up leaving burns or bumps too in the private area?
Thanks

  1. You should use any shaving cream, especially veet shaving cream. Truth is, bumps cannot really be avoide because of our hair (I'm assuming you are african) is thick so when growing back, we tend to have ingrowth. I had the same problem with shaving sticks, i switched to shaving cream and i still got bumps but they rarely occurred. you can talk to a gynaecologist or your doctor if they can give you any ointment to reduce bumps down there.

  2. When you use shaving sticks, wet some cotton wool with good methylated spirit and wipe that area immediately after shaving. There would be no bumps or itching at all. It works perfectly fine for me.

  4. Well I personally do not advice shaving creams for private areas, cos it myt mistakenly enter the wrong place. I use powder(baby powder or Robb powder) and shaving sticks alone no bumps nthg. Make sure the area is dry b4 shaving too. I have recommended same to friends that have bump issh and it worked. All d best.

  5. I use veet shaving cream too,but I'm not a fan of shaving creams,so I use my shaving sticks more often.always buy shaving sticks with twin blades, and be careful not to hurt urself with it.after shaving, use mycoten or canesten vaginal cream to massage all d areas u av shaved, make sure the cream is absorbed fully by the skin,u can use it for ur armpit too if u shave dat area, and don't use roll on dat day, just d mycoten. Dats wat I rub after shaving, and I don't av any bumps whatsoever.goodluck.

  6. Had the same problem till I started using veet in shower hair remover for sensitive skin, now it's bye bye to bumps and hello to fresh puna and skin!
Just use cotton wool to cover the entrance of your vagina and apply veet in shower cream, it comes with a sponge, apply with the smooth part and after few minutes, use the rough part to take off the melted hair, you can even use shaving stick at this moment for a very smooth and clean shave, and I can testify to a bumpless private area *wink*

  9. My dear dnt evn try veet, if u read d leaflet carefully it says "do not use in d private part" its meant for the arms and legs and other areas but certainly not d. vagina coz u dnt knw wot harm it myt cause. N I strongly believe d white man is not stupid 2 have created veet for a specific purpose. Just like ANON 11:53 pm said buy a handy clipper or u use a baby scissor 2 trim until u are able 2 afford 1.

  10. I don't know if you're a lady, but if you are: Veet is okay except if you're allergic to it. Try Veet for sensitive skin. Don't allow it touch your clit or v.opening. Honestly, waxing is the best method. Painful but you won't get bumps and ingrown hair. Plus lasts for up to 8wks. Shaving stimulates the hair to grow back quicker and thicker. Hence ingrown hair-causing bumps. Just don't wax immediately before or after your period. It will hurt like fire. Any good spa can offer waxing services.
f you're a man, Veet is okay too. My man uses Veet.

  12. U can try buying shaving sticks for sensitive skins. They usually come with twin blades and are very gentle on ur skin. Remember to shave in the direction of hair growth, dats d no.1 way to avoid bumps. Also u can use baby oil or even ur body lotion on the area after shaving to reduce friction, esp if ur on d plumpy side, works for me. Good luck!!

  13. I have used Veet in the past but having switched to Formula 103 hair remover cream for close to 3 years comparing both I will say the latter is better and sells at a good price too.
