Goat Meat Pepper Soup Served With Rice. I made for myself and folks pepper soup with
goat meat, with bitter leaf and scent leaf
Ingredients:
1 kg Goat meat
a handful well washed Bitter leaf
1/4 cup Scent leaf
Powdered pepper soup spices sold at the market
1 large Cat fish (dry)
1 small Onion
Water
3 seasoning cubes
Salt to taste
I used Aunty Eya’s pepper soup method in cooking it, the only difference is, I added the scent leaf when I was boiling the meat and fish.

The bitter leaf is it utazi leaf or the regular olugbu leaf?
From the pix,it is the regular onugbo..bt then again wont it give the p.soup a bitter taste

Well washed bitter leaf gives very good taste to pepper soup!
No Sara, it's not utazi. The regular onugbo. To make pepper soup with it, it has to be well washed.
No eresco, it depends on how you want it. It can be prepared with uziza too.
