How to cook yam like porridge, mix with green vegetables. The time it takes to cook this green vegetables yam
depends on how soft or hard you want your yam cooked. This is a very easy dish to cook. While yam is cooking, the amaranth is washed, chopped and sauteed in palm oil with onion, salt and seasoning.
Even little children and babies love this meal, it is so easy to eat. The soft yam can be mashed with fingers and given to babies being introduced to solid foods.
allow green vegetables and yam to simmer for 3 minutes or more |

Yam cooked soft and then mixed with sauteed green vegetables is really yummy. This can be served at lunch or even dinner. What really makes a difference here is the quantity of yam you consume, whether at lunch or dinner.
Enjoy!

Hi Chacha. thank you for sharing.
Have a great new week!
Sorry about the sand. I scrub smoked fish very well with sand before washing with warm water. Use much sharp salt when you scrub.
Oh dear. Shayor, please don't be sick. We can't afford to miss your sweet presence because you are lying on a sick bed o. Hope you are taking your medications?
Don't worry dear, after enjoying this yam meal, you will feel stronger. We wish you a very quick recovery.

Aunty Eya, pls was the veg boiled or anytin special done to it before adding to the yam? Sandra
i luv god food but i don't really like to cook. This is mainly because I lack the ideas of what to make, I have tried out two of your recipes and my husband who claimed not to like banga soup demanded why I have not given him the "new soup" (banga with afang leaves) I made. It came out really nice, thanks for making cooking more attractive for me.
Yes Sandra, the vegetable was washed and stir fried (sauteed) briefly in a little palm oil, with salt and seasoning cube before adding to yam.
Good morning Funky, thank you for sharing. Hope he cleared his plate? There is a menu timetable when you scroll right down. Check it out, you may find it helpful when planning your weekly menu.
