Why You Need Moringa Tea And How To Make

Moringa leaves used for tea

Freshly harvested Moringa (Zogale) leaves

I decided long ago to dump my beverages and join the Moringa tea drinking Team,
but, for some reasons (may be sweet tooth or love for beverages) I wasn’t able to do that. The urge became more serious last night after reading Dobby’s signature. It was a long post no doubt. However, I thoroughly enjoyed and read word by word.

After digesting that post, this morning I had my first experience with Moringa Tea and I honestly feel

good about this. To think that I serve Hubby Moringa every morning, I watch him mix it with his soups and other meals. I watch him take it as many times as possible on a daily basis, yet, have never been able to bring myself to taking it, It’s shocking how sometimes we know what is great for our bodies but have no will power to do it.

  8. Ha, I am from Gombe and in my tribe (Tangale) every one has Zogale tree planted heir house. Kinda like Igbo women and bitter leaf or Ugu. So I find it crazy that people actually sell it now. The tree is easy to grow. And you can plant like 3 in your backyard.

When I was growing up, 'African Salad' was actually zogale boiled and mixed with onions, tomatoes, suya peper (yagi) and ground kuli kuli. YUMMY!!! I miss it so much as I haven't been home in months

Thanks for sharing. Still strange to me that my regular village food is now so medicinal maybe I'll try the tea one day. I'd rather just boil the leaves and eat 😀

  9. Hi Eya, I am in Australia.
I just bought moringa powder this week, and I too found that we needed to find a way to make it palatable. What I've found best is to mix half a teaspoon with a teaspoon of honey, and have that twice a day. It is easy to take that way.
Also I found it was good to mix the moringa and honey in natural yoghurt.

  24. I hear the side effects are negligible. Like no side Effects. I can take while pregnant, however, I won't be the one to advise other pregnant women to take Moringa. I think, that is a Doctor's job. Elderly person with HBP should ask the Doctor. I can give to my elderly Mother, but, I don't think it's OK for me to advise other elderly people with High Blood Pressure to take it. I will only advise that you ask your Doctor. Thanks Anon.

But my mum got me moringa leaves she picked and dried herself, I ve taken it as tea for 4dys now, to my surprise, I haven't cough since yesterday unlike before, I will keep taking it but I noticed I took a lot of it and it is making me feel drowsy, I intend to reduce the dosage! It works, I was very sceptical at first!
